Why do you use a torque wrench for lug nuts?
Lug nuts that are undertorqued can loosen during driving and cause a wheel to separate. Over-torqued lug nuts can crack the wheel, strip studs, or make future removal impossible. Manufacturer torque specs exist for a reason — we follow them.
Can you change a tire on a lifted truck?
Yes. We carry floor jacks with appropriate height and weight ratings for lifted vehicles. Tell us it’s lifted when you call.
What if both tires on one side are flat?
If you have one spare and two flat tires, we’ll mount the spare on the most critical position and tow the vehicle to a tire shop for the second tire.
Is it safe to change a tire on the highway shoulder?
It can be dangerous. We recommend staying in your vehicle with hazards on and calling us. Our drivers are trained for roadside safety and position the truck to provide a barrier between your vehicle and traffic.
What if my wheel locks are on and I can't find the key socket?
Locking lug nuts require the matching key socket — usually in the glovebox toolkit. If the key socket is missing, we cannot remove the wheel with standard tools. A tow to a tire shop that can drill out the lock may be necessary.
Can you change tires in a parkade?
Yes — provided we can get the truck close enough to access the vehicle. Tell us about the parkade when you call.
My run-flat is showing damage — can I still drive?
Run-flat tires are designed for limited low-speed driving after a puncture — typically 80 km at 80 km/h. If the sidewall shows bulging, cracking, or visible damage beyond a standard puncture, the run-flat may no longer be safe. We’ll advise based on what we see.
What if my spare is flat too?
If your spare is also unusable, we tow you to the nearest tire shop. Happens more often than you’d think — spare tires lose pressure over time when they’re never checked.
